For Miami Music Week, I designed a Solid Grooves shirt built around a stylized, abstract interpretation of Florida, using alligators and palm trees as graphic motifs. The design balanced playful regional references with bold, high-contrast composition, creating a piece that felt both location-specific and unmistakably Solid Grooves. The result was a collectible event shirt that captured Miami’s energy while fitting seamlessly into the broader brand universe.
For Los Angeles, the direction shifted toward a more raw, street-level energy. These designs drew from graffiti and street art, using expressive mark-making and texture to reflect the city’s edge while still feeling unmistakably Solid Grooves.
Together, the collection showcased how the brand could flex across themes, cities, and cultures while remaining instantly recognizable.
For Barcelona, Jesolo, and Madrid, the approach shifted toward illustrative motifs built from local iconography, translating recognizable cultural symbols into bold, character-driven graphics that felt specific to each city while staying true to the Solid Grooves aesthetic.
Together, the collection demonstrated how Solid Grooves’ visual language could adapt across locations—balancing local references with a consistent, globally recognizable brand presence.
