This project marked a major milestone for my newly launched studio, as it was our very first pitch for an interactive art installation at the iiiPoints Festival in Miami. Collaborating closely with my team, I took the lead on concept development, graphic design, and rendering, as well as overseeing the technical and logistical aspects of the project.
Concept & Creative Execution
The installation concept was a 10'x10' interactive grid composed of 5 square panels, each featuring a combination of natural grass and custom-designed LEDs. The idea was to create an immersive, sensory experience where festival-goers could engage directly with the art. Each panel was equipped with sensors that would trigger light and sound effects upon being stepped on, creating a dynamic interaction between the audience and the installation.

Process & Challenges
As the project lead, I was responsible for the design renders and ensuring that the creative vision aligned with the festival’s atmosphere. I handled budgeting, researched materials, and coordinated the technical setup, focusing on how to integrate the LED technology with the natural elements in a sustainable and visually compelling way. The challenge lay in balancing the aesthetic appeal with the technical requirements, ensuring the installation was functional.
